What is the Economics Society?

The Economics Society hosts academic, corporate, professional development, and social/community-building events centered around the field of economics. Whether you are a budding economist or a curious amateur, the Economics Society has programming for you.

How Do I Join?

We introduce students to academic research by inviting economics professors to present their research. Students will dive into diverse areas of economic interest, from competitive strategy to health economics to antitrust regulation, and more.

We build community around economics by hosting various social events throughout the semester. Past events have included trivia nights, book clubs, community service, and mixers with economics faulty.

We help students develop marketable skills by hosting professional development workshops, corporate recruiting events, and a mentorship program. We also support students preparing for graduate school.
